Hello Hillsborough Animal Advocates,
None of your pet stores or flea markets should be selling rabbits because of the retail rabbit ban that was put into effect recently. Now that it is Easter---We are asking if you could stop by your local retail stores and flea markets and make sure you don't see any pet rabbits being sold. If they are selling rabbits, call Animal Control immediately. Animal Control does not go out looking for rabbits---they are complaint driven. Please also let me know if you find any rabbits. Pet Supermarket probably won't have any---but the smaller stores might---if someone could check Zuri Paloma's Pet Shop and Yoan & Son Pet Shop that would be great because it is possible that the owners of those two stores are breeding rabbits. Thank you!
